Forward Michael Taylor has agreed to join Stourbridge from Stratford Town as Ian Long’s team building continues.
He was amongst the leading goalscorers in the Premier Division Central in 2018/19 before Christmas before being lured away by league rivals Tamworth. However
that move didn’t work out and his contract was cancelled by mutual consent towards the end of January. He duly signed for Leamington in the National League North before opting for a return to Stratford Town a month later. He subsequently played his part in Stratford successfully securing a play-off berth and winning the Southern League Cup, notching 20 goals in all competitions for the ‘Town’. In total he made 119 appearances for Stratford.
He follows Will Grocott in making the move this summer from Stratford to Stourbridge.
