Stowmarket Town have announced the signing of Ryan Clark from Walsham-le-Willows.

The midfielder has agreed to join the club following a successful three-year spell with the Willows, where he scored 26 goals in 121 games. Clark, who has previously played for the likes of Bury Town and Felixstowe & Walton United, will be a familiar face to Stow fans, having played for Walsham in their three games against the Old Gold and Blacks in the Premier Division over the last 12 months.

Stow assistant manager Paul Musgrove said of Clark’s arrival: “Ryan fits the type of player going forward that we need.

“I signed him for Walsham when I was there and he’s a Stowmarket boy as well, so I’m pleased to bring him to the club.”

Clark will be cup tied for Stow’s trip to Swaffham Town in the FA Vase next month, but, subject to paperwork going through, should be available for this Saturday’s home game against Brantham Athletic in the Premier Division.
