Paul Musgrove believes Stowmarket Town have not got into their stride yet after a stop-start opening two months of the season.

The Old Gold and Blacks started the 2020-21 campaign with their best run in the Emirates FA Cup for 19 years, beating Rothwell Corinthians and Yaxley to reach the first qualifying round.

And last month Stow broke a 36-year record for the longest unbeaten run in the Thurlow Nunn League, eclipsing Wisbech Town’s 37-game run with a streak which now stands at 39 games.

But those two feats have been interspersed with a series of Covid-19-related postponements, including four games called off in October, before the season was halted last week due to the new lockdown.
