Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division Central club Stratford Town have lost top scorer Mike Taylor and have recruited veteran and much-travelled Shane Benjamin in his place.

Taylor, formerly with Solihull Moors, Worcester City and Redditch United departs Town after making 106 appearances and scoring 38 goals – 14 of them this season.

He was made an offer he couldn`t refuse by the Lambs.

Benjamin joins Town from Midland Leaguers Heather St Johns having started the season with Nuneaton Borough.

Included in his list of former clubs are Castle Vale, Hednesford Town, Studley, Evesham United, Shepshed Dynamo, Stourbridge, Romulus, Rushall Olympic, Redditch United, Racing Club Warwick, Glapwell, Boldmere St Michaels, Coleshill Town, Highgate United and Stafford Rangers.
