Bradford (Park Avenue) have signed striker Zayn Hakeem.

Hakeem has signed for the 2019/20 season and hopes to make an immediate impact at Horsfall.

He formerly played at Mansfield Town, having come up with the Nottingham Forest Academy.

While at Mansfield, Hakeem made two Football League appearances as well as playing in both the EFL Trophy and the EFL Cup. He left in July to establish himself in a first team.

Bradford chairman Gareth Roberts commented: “Zayn felt that the system that we are building was an ideal fit.

“He has the tools to become one of the league’s standout goalscorers. We are excited that he chose us, given that he had multiple options.

“It’s a testament to the management team.”
