Striker Mikel Suarez will return for a third season with the Bishop`s Stortford as new manager Gordon Boateng continues to build his squad for the new campaign
The veteran forward was Blues’ top scorer in the 2014/15 season but struggled with injury problems and was limited to 3 goals in twenty-one games.
The Bilbao-born striker had spells with in the Northern Premier League and Conference North with Boston United and Worksop Town while studying at Loughborough University.
He joined Tonbridge Angels in January 2012 and while with the Angels he suffered a horrific head injury that kept him sidelined for some time.
He regained full fitness and eventually left Tonbridge for Dartford in the January 2014 transfer window before joining the Blues two years ago.
He follows Josh Ekim, who also confirmed he would stay with the Blues for the 2016/17 season.
After initially struggling to get in the team, 24-year-old midfielder Ekim proved to be a key member of the Blues’ squad that finished the season in play-off form.
