Frontman Ant Wilson has made a return to Gainsborough Trinity.

Liam King is in interim charge at the Evo-Stik Premier play-off chasers following the departure of manager Lee Sinnott last week, and King has strengthened with the signing of the former Frickley Athletic player.

It will be Wilson’s second spell with Trinity, and King said of the signing:

“Ant gives us a presence up top, if needed, and is a handful for opposition teams to play against. He’s a great asset for the team to have, as he brings others into play with his ability to hold the ball up.”
