Bishop’s Stortford boss Rod Stringer is hoping for plenty of support when his side travel to Cheshunt to face St Albans City in the Herts Charity Cup final on Tuesday.

“They’re on a good run at the moment and I’m sure they’ll bring a lot with them, so I hope we’ll also take a big crowd to the game” said Stringer.

“It’s only just down the road, so it would be good to see a couple of hundred Stortford fans there.

“We’ve got a good record in the competition and we’ll be fielding our strongest possible side as we’d like to finish the season with a cup.

“I’d like to be playing on Saturday as we’re on a nice run, but it gives us the chance to rest and go for it on Tuesday.”
