In the latest update given to clubs from The FA, it has been said that supporters of ‘elite’ clubs will not be permitted to attend FA Cup games.

One example is Welling United’s tie with Sheppey United. As National League South Welling are classed as ‘elite’, the club say The FA have informed them that their supporters will not be able to buy tickets for the game at the SCEFL club, though the ‘non-elite’ club’s supporters can.

Similarly, fellow Step 2 club Kidderminster Harriers are set to face Alvechurch away, but as the ‘elite’ club, Harriers say they have been told their supporters are not permitted to attend.

It is understood that in the case of the ‘elite’ club hosting a game, there will be no supporters allowed at all.
