Sutton United have today added to the squad for the 2019/20 season, with Matt Gray completing the signing of winger Will Randall, who spent the last two months of last season with Newport County.

Aged 22, Randall began his career with Swindon before moving to Wolverhampton Wanderers in January 2016, and subsequently had loan spells with Walsall, Forest Green and Spanish club FC Jumilla before being released midway through last season and joining Newport.

Gray was delighted to capture the signature of the winger, who played in the first half at Tonbridge on Tuesday, saying: ”Will is exactly the type of player I’ve been looking to add to the squad. He’s an exciting left-winger with great pace and, with the quality we’ve already got on the right, it will give us a good balance.”
