Sutton United, having seen the experienced Kevin Amankwaah leave for Bath City, have replaced him in the squad with someone 17 years his junior!

Paul Doswell has brought in highly-rated 18-year-old Jordan Bentley on a three-month loan agreement from SkyBet League One side Plymouth Argyle.

Bentley graduated through the Home Park academy, having joined aged 13 and progressed through the ranks as a promising central defender before winning a two-year apprenticeship in 2015.

He made his first-team debut as a substitute on the final Saturday of the 2015/16 season – a week after his 17th birthday – and after making a first starting apearance in last year’s Checkatrade Trophy at Swansea City, was rewarded with his first professional contract in June.
