Curtis Woodhouse is Tadcaster Albion’s new manager.
The former Sheffield United and Birmingham City midfielder has managed Sheffield, Goole, Hull United and most recently Bridlington Town. The 39-year-old former British light-welterweight champion told Tadcaster’s website:
“I’m absolutely delighted to be appointed as the manager of Tadcaster Albion. It’s a fantastic football club and one I’ve admired from afar for some time.
“After sitting down with the club and discussing different things, the passion they had for the football club really blew me away and when the role was offered it was a no-brainier for me. I’m looking forward to the fans’ forum on Wednesday night to talk in more detail about the plans moving forward.
“I hope as many fans as possible can attend and feel free to ask me anything you want. In football you can never promise results or anything like that, as it’s a funny old game as they say, but one thing I can promise is I’ll be giving 100 percent and I’ll be demanding the same from my players.”
