Tadcaster Albion have confirmed the resignation of manager Paul Quinn.

Quinn is to leave the Northern Premier League East club to take up a role with Sheffield United.

The former Shaw Lane boss has been in charge at Taddy since replacing Curtis Woodhouse in November 2019.

Assistant manager Steve Waide will now lead the team for the time being.

Speaking to the club website, Quinn said: “It is with a heavy heart that I am leaving Tadcaster to take up a role at Sheffield United.

“I want to thank all the players, staff, committee and supporters for everything over the last couple of years.

“I am proud to have managed the club and look forward to watching Tadcaster develop and progress.”
