Tamworth FC winger Callum Powell says he wants to add consistency and goals to his game as he targets a winning run in the National League North.
The former Wrexham winger has chipped in with a number of assists this season – including two in the 3-3 draw with Southport.
But he says he needs to find his goal touch as well in the coming weeks as the Lambs prepare for a busy Christmas period.
“I was looking at it the other day and think I have started seven games and have seven assists,” he said.
“So I have proved that when I do play, I can be a threat and I can be dangerous.”
“I think I could do with a couple of goals as well. That would mean I am really contributing a lot.
“The assists are great but I would really be flying if I could add two or three goals. I just need to make sure I concentrate on my football and kick on.
“I need to keep my head down, keep working hard and if I can do that hopefully I will stay in the team. For me, I feel it’s about finding some consistency.
“If I perform how I know I can, there’s no reason why I can’t kick on.”
