Aman Verma heads to former club Darlington on Saturday hoping the Lambs can build on their recent away form.

Tamworth have taken four points from six on their travels against York City and Chorley.

And Verma, who returned from an ankle injury against Salford City on Saturday, is hoping the run goes on against his old team.

“We have had some good away results recently so we can go into this weekend in positive mood,” he said.

“I used to play for them (Darlington) so it will be nice to go up there.”

“It’s a different pitch now but I have good memories of my time there.

“We won the FA Trophy in 2011 (beating Mansfield) so it was great to be part of that. The fans might have forgotten me by now though!

“We are looking forward to it. It’ll be a four-hour trip so there will be a bit of banter plus the chance for some rest. We will see how it goes up there.”
