Northampton Town midfielder Jason Taylor have followed in the footsteps of former Cobblers team mate Ryan Cresswell and signed for Vanarama National League club Eastleigh.
Taylor, 29, leaves the Cobblers by mutual consent, after making thirty four appearances since joining them from Cheltenham Town last January.
The midfielder started his career with Oldham Athletic, leaving the Latics in 2006 to join Stockport County after a successful loan spell at Edgeley Park.
After three years with County he moved to Rotherham United on a free transfer and went on to make over a century of apperances for the club before his contract was mutally terminated, allowing him to join Cheltenham Town.
A move to Northampton Town followed and after making forty six appearances for the Cobblers he will now join Eastleigh’s promotion bid as they look to gain Football League status for the first time in their history.
