Tooting & Mitcham United have been expelled from the Alan Turvey Trophy sponsored by Robert Dyas for fielding an ineligible player.

The Club forfeited its place in the competition after waiving its right to appeal for playing Chase O’Neil in a 2-1 win over Corinthian-Casuals in the third round on Tuesday 8 December.

The Club was charged after O’Neil was found to have played for Staines Town in an earlier round in August.

As a result, Corinthian-Casuals have been reinstated in the competition and will play Sittingbourne in the quarter-finals on Tuesday 5 January 2016.
