The last week has seen more player movement at Soham Town Rangers with three players joining and one leaving the club.

Following his recent departure from Thurlow Nunn neighbours Newmarket Town, Joey Abbs has returned to Soham.

The 31 midfielder originally joined Soham in October 2013 from Cambridge City before leaving to join the Jockeys during the summer.

Another player returning to the Lane is Miles Smith. The 23 year old versatile defender originally had a short spell with the club in October whilst with Kettering Town, before signing for Histon.

But having recently left the Stutes returned to Soham.

The third player to join Soham is keeper Evan Jeckells.

The 17 year joins on dual registration from St Neots Town, having recently had a similar deal with Godmanchester Rovers, to cover for injured keepers George Lawton and Cambridge United loanee Sam McDermid.

All three players were involved in the recent home victory against Romford.

It has also been confirmed that Jake Chambers-Shaw has left Soham.

The midfielder joined the Greens on work experience loan from Cambridge United towards the end of February, but after just one substitute appearance has been recalled and signed for Southern League Ware on a similar deal.
