East Grinstead Town manager Matt Longhurst has announced three new signings and two departures.
He said “It’s with great pleasure I can confirm the welcome return of defender Drew Cooney who rejoins the club after a spell with Three Bridges.
“Drew is exactly what we have been looking for in terms of a local player that has the club’s best interests at heart as well as the added ingredient of experience which we lack. He should help us become more solid defensively over the coming weeks.
“Also joining the club are two more new faces. Lewis Taylor is another central defender with lots of experience. AFC Wimbledon and Woking are his previous clubs.
“Attacking player Jason Davis has signed after his release by Brighton. Jason is an excellent footballer and joins us hoping to get some valuable game time as he returns after a long-term injury.
“I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all the new players to the club. The quality of these signings really excites me.
“With some players coming in it has meant I have had to let Liam Smith go back to Tonbridge Angels after his loan spell with us and Jerome Roseje has also been released. I’d like to thank both lads for their efforts during their time with us.
“We still have Ricardo Thompson, Alex Gaggin and Jake McInytyre injured this week but should welcome Travis Gregory back to training on Thursday”
