Scarborough Athletic boss John Deacey has started preparation for next season as he confirmed three new players for the 2019/20 campaign.

Former Seadogs Pete Davidson and Will Annan have committed to Boro, both coming in from Tadcaster Albion, along with defender Ellis Barkworth.

Annan signed for Boro during last pre-season and started the season well until he was unfortunately ruled out with a long-term injury that required surgery. He went on to finish the season at Tadcaster with some impressive performances.

Popular playmaker Davidson returns to Boro after leaving the club in March 2016. He was previously with the club for almost four seasons, where he made over 150 appearances for the club.

Barkworth, a 21-year-old right-back, was also recently at Tadcaster after being on Hull City’s books since he was a junior and made an appearance for their first team in the League Cup.
