Tonbridge Angels FC have announced that midfielders Luke Blewden and Xavier Vidal have both been released by the club.
In two separate spells with the club ‘Blewie’ made 115 1st team starts with a further 73 appearances from the bench scoring a total of 34 Goals. Vidal, a more recent arrival, this season chalked up 33 starts with 3 appearances as substitute and 2 Goals to his name.
Sam Bantick will also be leaving the club as he wishes to pursue a different avenue within the game. Another arrival during this season he made 19 appearances with a further 2 from the bench and scored 4 goals.
Angels 1st team manager, Steve McKimm said: “This is arguably the most difficult task for any manager telling players that basically they no longer fit future plans, and today has been no exception to that. I thank Blewie and Xavier for their services to the club, they have always given me 100% and I will help them if required to find other clubs.
“I wish Sam, who has decided his future lies elsewhere, the very best of luck wherever he may go and thank him for his efforts this season.”
