Barrow AFC supporters can expect to see some changes when the Bluebirds take on FC Halifax Town in the first round of the FA Trophy at Holker Street tomorrow, The Mail report.
One of those will be enforced, as left wing-back Rhys Norrington-Davies serves a one-match suspension after being sent off for a professional foul against Maidstone United last week.
There is also one less attacking option available to AFC, as winger Erico Sousa has returned to Accrington Stanley, following the end of his two-month loan spell.
But with the exception of one or two defensive injuries, manager Ian Evatt has been able to name a fairly settled side in recent games, meaning that some of his squad who haven’t been involved lately are in need of some minutes.
Evatt said: “Luke Burgess hasn’t played a lot, Connor Brown hasn’t played a lot, Andy Firth hasn’t played a lot.
“Obviously, with Rhys Norrington-Davies’ suspension, Lee Molyneux will come into the team, so there are quite a lot of players there who are ready for first-team action and they don’t necessarily make us weaker.”
