Thatcham Town have confirmed that striker Shane Cooper-Clark has agreed a new deal with the FA Vase winners.
Cooper-Clark had a magnificent season for Danny Robinson’s team, scoring 63 goals as the Kingfishers won promotion from the Hellenic Premier Division as champions. Additionally, the frontman scored the only goal in Thatcham’s Vase final with Stockton Town at Wembley last month.
Cooper-Clark’s penalty was enough on the day as the club celebrated a memorable double. His re-signing follows hot on the heels of a new deal for skipper Tom Melledew, as well as defender Gareth Thomas.
Manager Robinson also committed his future to the Berkshire club in the lead-up to Wembley, becoming the first Thatcham manager to sign an official deal.
