Gary Johnson has confirmed that defender Kyle Cameron missed Torquay United’s 3-2 win at AFC Fylde at the weekend because of injury.
Cameron, 23 last Wednesday, had been an ever-present this season, often as captain, and he had not missed a game for nearly a year – he was suspended following a two-card sending-off at Welling United in the NL South on February 16, 2019.
The former Newcastle United player was not involved at Mill Farm on Saturday, and Johnson reported: “Kyle wasn’t fit because of injury, but it’s nothing serious.”
