A second half goal by Asa Hall which gave Barrow a 1-0 victory at Guiseley on Tuesday night has left Torquay United’s National League survival hopes dangling by a thread. Hall’s 48th minute goal sent Guiseley down to National League North and boosted his own side’s chances of survival.
But it left Torquay, who did not play last night, in dire straits. With three games to go, Torquay know they must win them all to have any chance of beating the drop to National League South. But even winning all three of their last games at Hartlepool on Saturday and at home to Guiseley and Ebbsfleet next week might not be enough.
