Torquay United are hoping to make two loan signings before their next National League South game at home to Hemel Hempstead on Saturday, report Devon Live.

The Gulls are winless and goalless in their last four games, and manager Gary Owers hinted after the 0-0 Bank Holiday draw away to Gloucester City that his patience was running out.

He told shareholders at United’s AGM that he had lined up two loan deals from a Championship club, although he did not give any more details.

Owers and Torquay’s Head of Recruitement Dave Hedges have close links with Bristol City, from whom they loaned midfielders George Dowling and Connor Lemonheigh-Evans last season, so it would not be a surprise if they go back to Ashton Gate for their latest additions.
