Gloucestershire Live report that Cheltenham Town have turned down an approach for striker Manny Duku from Torquay United.
The Gulls, top of National League South, are managed by ex-Robins boss Gary Johnson.
It was Johnson who brought Duku to Whaddon Road on a two year deal from Hayes & Yeading United last summer.
The 26-year-old recently returned to his parent club after a loan spell at National League side Barnet.
