General manager Geoff Harrop says that Torquay United are looking at possible candidates both inside and outside Plainmoor to replace departing club secretary Tim Herbert, report Devon Live.
Former stadium and media manager Herbert handed his notice in a fortnight ago, and he is due to leave his hometown club at the end of the month.
“It gives us a chance to review all our staffing options and see who might be able to do the role before we go outside the camp,” said Harrop.
“We are going to have to find a replacement for Tim, and the secretary’s job is not easy – we want someone with energy, drive and enthusiasm. It certainly won’t be a cost-cutting exercise.”
