The pressures generated by the current ground-share deal between Torquay United and Truro City are about to reach new levels, after the Gulls rearranged a National League South home game against St Albans City for Tuesday, November 13 (7.45pm).

It will mean that Plainmoor has to stage three games in the space of four days – United v Woking (FA Cup) on Saturday, November 10, Truro’s clash with Dulwich Hamlet on Sunday, November 11, and now United v St Albans on the 13th.

But it will also crank up a current schedule which includes at least ten fixtures, possibly 12 depending on Cup and FA Trophy draws, in 37 days.
