Tranmere Rovers have completed the loan signing of Hartlepool United striker Scott Fenwick until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old has made 17 starts for the League Two club this season, scoring six goals.
Fenwick was also an influential figure for Hartlepool at the end of last season under Ronnie Moore, scoring a number of important goals as he finished the season as the club’s top goalscorer.
Born in Gateshead, his youth career saw him play in the Academies at the top trio of North East clubs, Newcastle United, Sunderland and Middlesbrough.
Tranmere Rovers anager Gary Brabin said of the signing: “Scott is the type of player we’ve been looking for.
He is someone we have kept a close eye on this season and I’m delighted that we are able to bring him into the Club for what is an important part of the season.
“He will provide competition for places in the forward area and is hungry to do well to help us achieve our goal this season of promotion.
“He is a strong lad, a willing runner and has an eye for goal and I’m sure he will do well for us during his time here.”
Scott will be available to make his debut in Rovers’ Good Friday home game against Lincoln City.
