Tonbridge Angels manager Steve McKimm has revealed he’s been working with a transfer embargo, report Kent Online.

McKimm hasn’t been able to add to his 16-man squad since the Bostik League imposed sanctions over unpaid money.

The Angels boss says the matter has been resolved and expects the embargo to be lifted shortly after Saturday’s home Premier Division game against Burgess Hill.

He said: “The league imposed the embargo about six weeks ago due to certain things not getting paid.

“They have been paid now and so the embargo will be lifted, we’re hoping around the 19th or 20th of August.”
