Young forward Curtis Morrison has joined Gainsborough Trinity on loan from League One side Chesterfield.
First-year professional Morrison joins Gainsborough on a youth loan for an initial 28 days.
He joined Chesterfield as a scholar, and whilst still in his first year he appeared in the summer of 2014 for the first-team in a pre-season friendly away at Alfreton.
A lively, bustling forward, he has impressed in FA Youth Cup and under-18 and under-21 football for the Spireites and in the summer of 2016 he signed his first professional contract.
He started pre-season as a member of the senior squad and made his home debut in a friendly against Sheffield Wednesday.
Morrison’s competitive, professional debut came on the 9th August 2016, when he came on as a second half substitute away to Rochdale in the League Cup.
Things would get even better on the 20th August, when Curtis made his League debut as a late substitute at Shrewsbury Town.
