Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division club Gainsborough Trinity have signed forward Max Watters on an initial month`s loan from Doncaster Rovers.
Watters has caught the eye of management duo Lee Sinnott and John Reed in a couple of EFL Academy under-23 games at Doncaster, including scoring in a 1-1 draw with Rotherham United earlier this week.
Watters signed for Doncaster in the summer, stepping up from Bostik League South East side Ashford United where he had played 27 times, scoring regularly as he played across the midfield and up top.
The youngster has also represented England at under-18 level, where he was part of the joint-winning Home Nations side, for which he played a starring role in the tournament with a clutch of goals and assists.
With NPL experience at Grantham Town, where he scored 4 times in 21 appearances.
