In-form Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division Central club Stratford Town have added a trio of new players to their squad ahead of today`s clash against league leaders Stourbridge.
Manager Thomas Baillie has swooped to sign Dan Summerfield, Nabil Shariff and Muhammad Sebbeh Njie.
Versatile defender Summerfield only left Stratford to sign for league rivals Redditch United towards the end of August.
The Welshman, who joined from Merthyr Town, reluctantly decided to end his two-year stay after failing to feature in any of Stratford’s five opening league games under former boss Darren Byfield.
Summerfield made 86 appearances for the club after joining in August 2016, scoring 5 goals. He was also named player of the year for 2017/18.
He returns to the club after a short spell with struggling league rival, Bedworth United.
Shariff is also returning to Stratford, having left in September from another league rival, St Neots Town.
Shariff, a prolific frontman with a proven eye for goal, had only joined Stratford from St Neots in July.
He joined the Saints originally from Vanarama National League North outfit Alfreton Town.
He had signed for the Reds in November 2017 from AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
Shariff joined the Diamonds in January 2016 from Daventry Town and had started out in the now sadly defunct former Rushden & Diamonds.
He made an excellent impression with his appearances for Diamonds in the 2010/11 season, when he made his League debut, initially with a number of substitute appearances, and after he had opened his goalscoring account he was given a first start in April 2011, scoring 3 goals in his first two full games.
He also started the final game played by the old Diamonds club.
After leaving Nene Park, he played for a number of clubs, including Tamworth, Banbury United, Corby Town and Stamford AFC, before signing for Daventry.
Since making his debut for the new Diamonds in April 2016, Shariff played 73 games for the club, scoring 40 goals.
He had scored 14 goals in 18 appearances ahead of his switch to Alfreton.
Sebbeh Njie is a tough-tackling energetic midfielder who played alongside Dan Summerfield at Redditch this season.
