Soham Town Rangers strengthened their squad with the addition of three players ahead of the Boxing Day derby at home to Bury Town.

Just a week after taking over as manager, Robbie Mason has signed Pat Adamson, Joe Carden and Luke Brown.

Adamson joins the Greens on work-experience loan from Leyton Orient, where the 18 year old midfielder is a regular for their academy side.

Carden joins the club from Southern League Cambridge City. The midfielder has also played for St Ives Town this season, having left Histon at the end of last season, where he progressed through their youth setup.

Brown arrives at the Lane having recently been in America on a scholarship. The striker finished last season at Godmanchester Rovers, scoring 19 goals in 18 appearances as Rovers finished runners up in the Thurlow Nunn League, but has previously been connected with Histon and Ely City.

Dan Hobbs has left Soham after St Neots Town recalled the midfielder from his loan spell at the Lane. Hobbs arrived at Soham at the beginning of November, scoring twice in his six appearances.
