Truro City face the first of a double-header against Weston Super Mare at Treyew Road on Boxing Day.

Manager, Lee Hodges, will be looking for a response from his side following our defeat at East Thurrock United, whilst our visitors will be battling for the points to pull them out of the relegation places.

“We’re fully focussed on getting back into winning ways,” said Hodges. “It will be a tough game but we want to make home advantage count and get the points.

“We had a really good November and whilst we performed well over the two games against Forest Green, we’ve fallen off a bit from those high standards and we need to get back to what I know we are capable of.

“Boxing Day makes are always special and hopefully there will be a large crowd and the kind of atmosphere that cam really inspire us and push us on.

“The lads have trained well this week. We’ve spoken about the last game but there is a real determination to put things right and start building some momentum as we go into the New Year.

“The most important game is always the next one, though, and we are focussing our attention on getting a positive result on Boxing Day.”
