The boss of Truro City Football Club has told Cornwall Live he is “considering” purchasing Truro nightclub Vanilla, which shut suddenly this week.
Truro City chairman Peter Masters – who owns the Sunday Independent newspaper and Cornwall Today magazine – said: “It’s definitely something we’re looking at.”
Clubbers in the city were shocked at the sudden closure of the 300-capacity venue, which has been owned by Graeme Scrimgeour for the past ten years.
It is the latest nightspot to close in Cornwall in recent times following the likes of Zone in Redruth and L2 in Truro.
