Cornwall Live report that plans to redevelop Truro City’s ground into a retail park with a supermarket have been revived.
The project, which would see a Lidl store and other non-food retail shops open on the site of the ground at Treyew Road, looks like it could be moving forward for the first time in two years.
After being approved by Cornwall Council in 2018, there was much confusion over whether the scheme would actually see the light of day.
Because of the plans Truro City FC played its home games at Torquay United for several months, before returning home last year.
Now an update has been issued on Cornwall Council’s planning portal – for the first time since August 2018.
