Truro City say they are to refund supporters who purchased season tickets, after it was announced the club is set to play their home games at Torquay United this coming season.

The Vanarama National League South side are due to groundshare with their divisional rivals, as development gets underway at their Treyew Road home imminently. The decision has not been met with widespread approval, with many Truro supporters now facing a trip of around 100 miles for the club’s fixtures.

The club have posted this on their website:

THE CLUB has made the decision to refund all supporters, in full, who have purchased a season ticket for Treyew Road for the 2018/19 season.

The repayment process will start today and will be done in one of three ways depending on how each ticket was paid.

* Payment by credit/debit card will be refunded via the card process;

* Payment by cheque will be sent a cheque by post within 7 days to the address on the application form;

* Payment by cash at Bunters, please call back in to collect.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.
