Truro City striker Cody Cooke may be following in the footsteps of former Plymouth Argyle forward Isaac Vassell if the latest transfer rumours are to be believed.
The 24-year-old frontman, who has 11 goals in National League South for the White Tigers this term, has reportedly been the subject of interest from League One and League Two clubs. Sports Independent reported of the interest, which was then followed up by just-football.com, who named Gillingham, Bradford City, Grimsby Town, Forest Green Rovers, Northampton Town and Barnet.
Lee Hodges told the Independent: “We’ve had interest in several of the lads, which shows we must be doing something right at the club. We never want to lose players of Cody’s quality, but at the same time we’re nmot going to stand in their way if they get the chance to play in the Football League.”
