Truro City’s Michaël Hervé is now back home in Paris after being released from hospital.
Saturday’s game with Concord Rangers in the Vanarama National League South made headlines after being abandoned following Hervé’s serious shoulder injury late on. Truro said that it was almost three hours until an ambulance arrived, and with the club informing the referee that they had no security officers after 6pm, the game was abandoned.
Midfielder Hervé left hospital on Sunday with a badly fractured humerus. The club say he left in a cast and has returned home to Paris for an assessment and consultation with doctors on the kind of operation he requires.
Hervé is expected to be sidelined for around three months.
