Hemel Hempstead Town have signed striker Ibra Sekajja from National League side Braintree Town.

The 23-year-old, a former England under-16 international, started his career with Crystal Palace and had loan spells with MK Dons, Barnet, Kettering Town and Bromley whilst on the books at Selhurst Park.

He played twice for the Palace senior side, scoring with virtually his first touch on his debut against Hull City in April 2011.

He was released by Palace in May 2014 and after a successful trial, signed for Scottish Premiership outfit Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

He played a handful of first-team games for Caley before leaving for Livingston in January 2015.

He signed for the Iron earlier this season, but has made only a handful of appearances.
