Hemel Hempstead Town have signed experienced wide midfielder Scott Neilson from rivals Whitehawk
Neilson, 29, joined the Hawks in February 2016 following his departure from National League outfit Grimsby Town.
He started out with the youth sides at Norwich and Charlton Athletic before going non-League with Hemel`s neighbours Hertford Town, Ware and then Cambridge City, from where he was signed by Bradford City in August 2009.
He went on to make twenty-four appearances for the Bantams and also had a loan stint with Cambridge United.
Neilson joined Crawley for £50,000 in 2010, helping them win the Conference (National League) title in 2011 and twelve months later netted the only goal as the Reds beat Accrington Stanley 1-0 to make it back-to-back promotions.
A short spell with Luton Town preceded a move to Grimsby Town, where he had been on loan from Crawley a year earlier, in May 2013.
He made fifty-six appearances for the Mariners before moving to Sussex.
