Former Truro City manager Steve Tully has said he would love to return to the club.

The former Torquay United defender was previously in charge from 2014 to 2016, leading the White Tigers to promotion to the Vanarama National League South as play-off winners in 2015. Paul Wilkinson was recently brought in as manager until the end of the current campaign but was unable to steer the club to safety, with Truro relegated on the final day.

In quotes shared by Truro City Updates (@TCFC_Updates), Tully has said he would welcome the chance to return as manager: “I would definitely come back now. The new owners seem like they’ve got a good knowledge of sport as a whole and have a plan going forward.

“If Paul Wilkinson’s contract isn’t extended, I would love the chance to return and finish what I started with Truro. I know the league and how to get out of it, so I’m ready if the new owners want a chat.”
