Boss Gavin Cowan says the fight for AFC Telford United’s No.1 shirt is far from settled, report the Shropshire Star.

Local lad Andy Wycherley was handed his first start as the Bucks beat York City last weekend and kept his place for Tuesday’s draw with Hereford.

The 21-year-old from The Rock, who has supported Telford since the age of six, has Leicester loanee Max Bramley breathing down his neck though.

“Andy has got the jersey at the moment but Max is chomping at the bit to come back in,” said Cowan.
