Bostik League South East club Ashford United have added two new players to their squad in Bode Anidugbe and Theo Fairweather-Johnson but have lost one.
The two new players both move to the Homelands from Bostik Premier side AFC Hornchurch.
Midfielder Anidgube joined the Urchins signed following the demise of Thamesmead Town in November 2018 and made his debut in a 1-0 defeat at Bishop’s Stortford.
He was previously with Maidenhead United, Braintree Town and Heybridge Swifts and worked under Nuts & Bolts boss Tommy Warrilow at Thamesmead.
Fairweather-Johnson signed for Hornchurch in June 2017 from Phoenix Sports having scored 19 goals in 40 appearances that season.
He made his debut in August 2017 in the season opener against Soham Town Rangers, helping the Urchins to a 3-0 home win.
A striker who can also play in an attacking midfield role, Fairweather-Johnson had an excellent first season at the club making 50 appearances and scoring 16 goals as the club gained promotion from the Bostik North.
This term opportunities have been limited with only 5 starts from his 19 games.
His other previous clubs include Dulwich Hamlet, Fisher Athletic, Welling United, Leatherhead and Thamesmead.
Meanwhile, striker Harry Ottaway has left the Homelands as he can’t dedicate his time to the Nuts & Bolts due to work commitments.
