Two more players have committed themselves to Nuneaton Town with Alex Penny and Elliott Taylor extending their current deals.
“Two more pieces of the jig-saw have been put in place,” said manager, Tommy Wright. “Alex is a highly-rated defender who has attracted the interest of clubs at higher levels throughout the season as well as being chosen by the V9 Academy.
“The season ahead is going to be a huge one for him and I expect him to improve the number of games that he plays.
“Meanwhile, I expect Elliott to push Tyrell Belford hard through pre-season and really challenge to be first choice between the posts.
“He proved in the final game of the season at Alfreton Town what potential he has and I am looking forward to him continuing to progress.”
Yesterday saw skipper, Kelvin Langmead and emerging midfielder Tom Elliott both sign new deals.
