Joe Doran, manager of Hallmark Security League Premier Division club Bootle, has bolstered his squad with two more new additions.

Doran has already brought in striker Warren Jevons from Litherland REMYCA and he has been joined by Ben Cartwright and Michael Carberry.

Cartwright, a centre-back, joins the Bucks from league rivals Ashton Athletic having also represented Widnes in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One West this season.

Second through the gates of the TDP Solicitors Stadium and returning to the club for a second spell is left-sided player Carberry.

Carberry, whose dad was a league title and Senior Cup winner for the Bucks, arrives from another NWCL Premier outfit, Runcorn Town.

He left the Bucks at the end of the season, playing with NPL Premier Division outfit Warrington Town in the early part of pre-season, before switching to Town.
