Concord Rangers have taken young defender Ben Wyatt on loan from League Two side Colchester United for the remainder of the season.
Wyatt penned a one-year’s contract with Colchester in May after impressing with Ryman League Division One North side Maldon & Tiptree in 2015/16.
He had had eight years with Norwich City and a year with Ipswich Town before his switch to the Jammers, and felt a season at Ryman League level taught him a great deal.
He also secured a `treble` at the Jammers’ end of season awards, picking up the supporters’, managers` and players’ player of the year awards.
The Beachboys have also signed former Norwich City defender or defensive midfielder Cameron Norman from Ryman Division One North side Norwich United.
He joined the Canaries at the age of 10 and progressed through the ages and played in both FA Youth Cup semi-final matches against Nottingham Forest which the Canaries won to progress to the FA Youth Cup final but was sent-off in the second leg.
He also played in both legs of the final which the Canaries won 1-0 and 3-2 against Chelsea to secure victory in the FA Youth Cup for the first time in 30 years.
In May 2014 he was rewarded with a two-year professional contract.
In October 2015, Norman joined National League side Woking on an initial one-month loan which was extended to January 2016.
However, in June 2016, Norwich announced that they would not be renewing Norman’s contract.
After trialling with one or two clubs in the summer, he eventually signed for
Norwich United, debuting against Waltham Abbey on 25th September.
