Vanarama National League club Braintree Town have made two additions to their squad.
Joining the Iron are a 21-year-old defender Daniel Matsuzaka and 24-year-old winger or striker Iffy Allen.
Matsuzaka joins from Japanese J3 League side Kataller Toyama FC.
He has a Japanese father and English mother and was capped twice by Japan at under-19 level.
That was whilst he was on the books at Southend United, for whom he made one senior appearances in the EFL Trophy in August 2016.
He also had a spell on loan with Bostik League Premier outfit Harlow Town in 2014/15 before leaving the Shrimpers for Japan in August 2018.
He has been training with Iron for a few days and has now received his international clearance.
Allen joins from National League South side Dulwich Hamlet.
He began his career at Fulham and Reading, before joining Barnet in 2011 where he signed a contract in 2013.
Following his release from the Bes, he signed for League Two side Yeovil Town in 2015, moving on to Torquay United in February 2016.
The following season saw him sign for both Aldershot Town and Wrexham before spending last season with Bromley and then joined Dulwich last September.
